Soooooo, I nearly threw up when I saw this new trend. It started with Anna Dello Russo and Bryan Boy in Paris for FW 2012. The creator of this monstrosity is Jil Sander, and while I have a fondness for many of the items for her Spring/Summer 2012 collection the veiled beanie is HORRID!

Jil Sander Veiled Beanie’s on the Runway
The most insulting part of this new trend is the price tag that a Jil Sander Veiled Beanie has a ridiculous price tage of $440!!!! THE HELLLLLLL! The Veiled Beanie is avail abile at Saks.
Should you choose to accept this trend and wear this Atrocious creation, make it yourself!! Check your local convenience store for a beanie and a craft store for netting, all for about $10 and BAM BAM BOOM you have your veiled beanie.
However! I HIGHLY discourage it!!!!
As always! Peace, Love & Vintage.

I rarely leave responses, but after reading through a few of the responses on this page Veiled Beanies?!?!?!? | Urban Vintage. I do have a couple of questions for you if you don’t mind. Could it be just me or do a few of the comments look like they are coming from brain dead folks?
And, if you are writing at additional social sites, I’d like to follow everything fresh you have to post. Could you post a list of every one of your social sites like your twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?
Thanks for your response. All of my social sites are listed in the contact section of my website. Fresh content is on the way! Thank you for you interest!
I know about any one beanie baby hvweoer, I know I gave two giant tubs of them (all in perfect condition) to good-will because not a one of them sold at garage sales. Approximate value? Sell them for a few bucks if you can, and be grateful. We held out too long.
I’d vnetrue that this article has saved me more time than any other.
Oh wow!! They look azimang!! Tiffany did an azimang job!! I surely need some… I wonder if she can do some in red, black and green! ;-D I can have a beanie like that, have you make me some earrings like that, make MYSELF a dress in those colors and I’ll be RIGHT and TIGHT!!Char~
It’s funny because I used to buy tulle or nets like this as a kid and make hats out of them. So to me these aren’t bad at all, I like it, but I think my mind goes elsewhere when It comes to fashion haha.
I view something truly interesting about your site so I saved to fav.
